Vintage Wall Hanging

Andrea and I got together again for a day of crafting. I made a vintage wall hanging with a B & W photo. Craigslist had a box of misc old pictures listed and couldn't pass up buying it. The photo came from the Craigslist box. I used a page from a children's dictionary I found at Goodwill, the buttons came from my grandma's stash.

The cigar box is a work in progress. The box has some major tweaking left to do.

Easter album received from a swap

More pictures from the Easter Album I received in a swap.

Easter album received from a swap

I'm involved in an album swap on the Provo Craft message board. It is the small shape word book swap that Kathy Orta is coordinating. My partner for the 3rd and final month of the swap is Nikki Rich. I just received her album a couple of days ago and was completely amazed by her work and detail to the album. This album is just incredible.

Mod Podge box

This is a $1 item that was 50% off at Michaels that I altered to hold my distressing kit.

Brownies and B & W family photo's

Never intended on collecting Brownies. However, over time have managed to collect them. I love my families old b & w photo's and like them displayed with the Brownies. One day I will take them to a camera shop to see if I have one that works. I would love to take a photography class. I am in the picture with the kids, that picture was taken in Ste Geneieve Missouri. The other picture is with my mom and her girlfriends.

Welded word book

This is my first attempt at a welded word book. The physical therapist I've been going to for my back and foot issues just had a baby, Brooke. So I thought I would try it out and if it turned out good I would give it to him. I'm pretty pleased with it for my first time trying this technique.
